Ketera Touts Mid-market Momentum for On-demand Spend Management
Midsize companies look to automate contract management, spend analysis and purchasing processes
Santa Clara, CA — August 26, 2005 — On-demand spend management specialist Ketera is touting its success in the mid-market, highlighting several midsize companies that are using the provider's solution to increase productivity, ensure compliance, improve supplier relationships and control costs.

According to a recently published Aberdeen analyst report titled "Filling the Gaps in Your Supply Management Infrastructure," a mid-market boom is "on the horizon."
"The mid-market missed out on — and bore the brunt of — the first wave of supply management improvements," said Tim Minahan, senior vice president for global supply management research at Aberdeen Group. "With continued pressures to improve performance and reduce costs, sourcing, procurement and supply management initiatives and automation investments are now not only a priority but a necessity for mid-market companies. Aberdeen's benchmarks indicate that more than half of mid-market companies plan to invest in on demand solutions and services to improve supply management operations."
