Clubconnect Selects Ketera Platform for Australian Hospitality Portal
Procurement solution goes live two weeks after implementation; targeted at eliminating maverick spend
Santa Clara, CA — April 27, 2006 — Australia's Clubconnect has tapped a procurement solution from Ketera to establish an online portal for the country's gaming industry.
Clubconnect, a new venture intended to serve the Australian club market, will use the Ketera Procurement Solution for its Supplyline Portal, a buyer and supplier market for the gaming industry.
Ketera's solution will be used to improve spend compliance and maximize savings by eliminating maverick or off-contract spending. Reaching over 1,000 users across Australia, Clubconnect's implementation marks Ketera's first customer in the region.
Ketera said that its procurement service decentralizes procurement practices while helping to maintain centralized control over preferred suppliers and negotiated prices.
