Atlanta — January 9, 2008 — Global research-driven pharmaceutical company Merck & Co. Inc. has selected Liaison Technologies' B2B integration software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution to deliver B2B and electronic data interchange (EDI) integration infrastructure and services.
Bob Renner, CEO of Liaison, commented that Liaison has an understanding of mapping and translation functionality, advanced service-oriented architecture and XML-based infrastructure. The firm also has experience as a B2B managed service provider. "We're able to offer our clients a more mature solution offering, as well as extensive experience with large scale ERP implementations," he said regarding the Merck partnership.
Renner also shared that Liaison has achieved certifications from 1SYNC and EPCglobal, which provide clients a wide range of technology options. The company also participates in various industry technology forums and global standards groups such as PapiNet and the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC).
Liaison's Integration Managed Service includes document mapping and translation, connectivity management, visibility and monitoring, as well as technical operations management.
