Eden Prairie, MN — June 3, 2009 — Supply chain services company Crescent has selected the HighJump Supply Chain Advantage software suite to support its logistics and contract packaging operations, the solution provider has announced.

Crescent will utilize HighJump solutions for warehouse management, manufacturing execution, slotting, billing management and supplier enablement. The company manages 1.7 million square feet of warehouse space in three states for clients in the consumer packaged goods, food and aviation industries.

"We evaluated HighJump along with the leading competitors," said Tom Schwallie, an executive vice president with Crescent. "HighJump has strong warehouse management features to support our operations, and the adaptability and flexibility of the HighJump solution was hands above the competition."

Schwallie added: "As a third-party logistics provider, each new piece of business brings new requirements. We chose the HighJump solution for its adaptability tools, which will allow us to bring on new customer easily and quickly."

HighJump said that its Warehouse Advantage solution will automate many of Crescent's previously manual warehouse processes and optimize the movement of goods throughout Crescent's distribution centers, boosting productivity and inventory accuracy.

The system will also enable the company to meet customer traceability requirements for batch and lot code tracking. Crescent will also be able to interface to customer ERP systems, a requirement that often previously hindered new business wins. The company will utilize HighJump's Manufacturing Advantage in its co-packing operations, where it assembles product multipacks and builds product displays.

Crescent is also looking to give new visibility to its general managers through Web-based dashboards that will help them to make more-informed decisions to drive additional productivity. The dashboards will also pull data from other systems, giving the managers a more comprehensive, relevant view of their operation's performance than was previously possible, HighJump said.
