Transportation solutions provider looks to SmartTurn's software-as-a-service warehouse management system for immediate impact with long-term benefits
San Francisco — June 24, 2009 — Transportation solutions provider Associated Global Systems (AGS) has selected the SmartTurn Inventory and Warehouse Management System to track its inventory, aiming to streamline the pick, pack and shipping process of an item in inventory as it expands its 3PL line of business.
AGS, founded in 1958, has more than 125 U.S. locations and a worldwide network of overseas partners, managed by a nationwide staff of transportation experts. The company handles shipments of any size, to or from every ZIP code in the U.S. and Canada and in 205 countries around the world.
SmartTurn said that its on-demand, enterprise-class solution enables AGS to provide quick visibility to its customers with a scalable footprint at a significant cost savings.
