3PL Central Marks One-year Anniversary of On-demand WMS Designed for 3PLs
Web-based warehouse management software now has more than 300 users managing more than 1.2 million square feet in 17 facilities
Orem, UT — October 1, 2007 — 3PL Central is marking the one-year anniversary of its 3PL Warehouse Manager product, an on-demand warehouse management system (WMS) intended to provide third-party warehouse operators with an affordable, "pay for what you use" WMS software solution.
Just one year after its launch, 3PL Warehouse Manager now has 13 3PL subscribers, 315 registered users and is managing more than 130 customer inventories worldwide, according to the solution provider.
"3PL Warehouse Manager is able to support multi-customer, multi-warehouse and multi-user facilities, includes real-time inventory visibility and other advanced WMS features, providing 3PL subscribers with all the functionality of an enterprise-class system without the expense," 3PL Central said in announcing the anniversary.
The solution provider believes that by using 3PL Warehouse Manager, small and midsize warehouse operators can be more competitive with the larger providers without being restricted by the technological limitations or financial barriers they might otherwise encounter.
"As my customer base has expanded and my operations have grown, 3PL Warehouse Manager has allowed me to easily service new business without enduring lengthy and costly installations," said Ted McDonald, general manager at Trident Companies, a 3PL Central customer for 11 months. "The 3PL Warehouse Manager pricing model allows me to pay for only the features that my customers require."
Current subscribers are using the on-demand solution to manage more than 1.2 million square feet across 17 warehouse facilities worldwide, according to 3PL Central.
