Vocera Communication taps SigmaQuest to ensure process enforcement and facilitates regulatory compliance


Sunnyvale, CA — August 7, 2007 — Vocera Communications Inc., a wireless communication provider, has selected SigmaQuest's on-demand solutions to manage product performance, outsource manufacturing, ensure process enforcement and facilitate regulatory compliance.

Vocera said it purchased a suite of SigmaQuest products, including Manufacturing and Test Insight, which continuously monitors manufacturing chain product quality; and RMA & Warranty Insight, to analyze product return data, track trends and get to the root cause of all issues, in real time.

Through the suite of on-demand solutions, Vocera explained that it can collect, aggregate and analyze detailed production and test information from its own product test labs in the United States, as well as at its global contract manufacturers.

Further, with SigmaQuest's SigmaSure real-time dashboard, Vocera said it can gain real-time visibility into performance trends and issues, should they occur, to quickly recognize where and when a product or process improvement should be made.

Vocera Communications is using SigmaQuest's software for managing the development of the Vocera Communications Badge, the hardware piece of the Vocera Communications System, which integrates Wi-Fi, voice over IP (VoIP) and speech-recognition technology for mobile workers in mission-critical environments, such as hospitals. The Badge enables wearers to communicate with colleagues over a wireless LAN using simple voice commands.
