3PL Central Launches Full Palletization Capabilities

Adds to company's SaaS WMS

Manhattan Beach, CA—June 16, 2011--3PL Central has added full palletization functionality and support for its popular Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based Warehouse Management System (WMS) called 3PL Warehouse Manager. “Palletization is just the latest in an arsenal of world class features added to 3PL Warehouse Manager allowing customers to achieve dramatic new levels of efficiency at a fraction of the cost of traditional systems,” says John Watkins, co-founder and CEO, explaining the evolution of the first on-demand WMS built specifically for 3PLs and introduced in 2006. 3PL Warehouse Manager now includes features giving customers the ability to: Receive, store, and pick material by individual pallet numbers; view inventory by pallet number, including item number, lot number, serial number, quantity, etc.; automate pallet setup and configuration; ship full or partial pallets; print custom pallet labels with License Plate barcodes, content description, etc.; reconfigure pallets on the fly to consolidate inventory and configure shipping units, and define pallets, cartons, Gaylords and any other type of movable unit. Current customers will receive palletization functionality at no added charge. As a web-based SaaS WMS provider, there is no hardware or software to buy and support with 3PL Warehouse Manager. Rather customers pay a monthly fee beginning as low as $500 per warehouse per month.
