Chainalytics Acquires Australian Logistics Company

Global Supply Chain Consultancy Deepens Asia-Pacific Presence.

Atlanta—May 13, 2014—Chainalytics, a global supply chain consulting and intelligence company has acquired Sydney, Australia-based Logiworx. Since 2009, Chainalytics and Logiworx have successfully partnered in multiple supply chain management projects in the Asia-Pacific region.

The acquisition strengthens Chainalytics’ presence in one of the fastest growing areas of the world. Chainalytics also gains expertise in verticals such as mining, metals, oil and gas, as well as extending capacity in supply management and procurement of direct and indirect materials.

Chainalytics will center its Asia-Pacific operational division around the Logiworx practice. Logiworx partner and co-founder Tim Foster will remain with the firm and take on the role of Managing Director at Chainalytics for Asia-Pacific.  “I am looking forward to building out Chainalytics’ Asia-Pacific footprint, including adding a Singapore office by the middle of the year” says Foster.
