Boston—Mar. 28, 2014—Trace One, a global provider of private-label product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions for retailers, manufacturers and suppliers, announced that Mark Martini joined its executive team to lead the company’s sales and customer development efforts in North America.
With more than 23 years of extensive sales and sales management experience in the consumer products industry with both manufacturers and service providers, including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Catalina Marketing, DemandTec and Symphony IRI Group, Martini can leverage his knowledge of consumer demand, shopper insights, price and trade optimization, and other go-to-market strategies to serve as Trace One’s vice president of North America.
“According to the results of Trace One’s recent Private Label Survey, effective collaboration is imperative and directly impacts businesses with 93 percent of respondents reporting that their organization is more productive because of their ability to collaborate,” said Jerome Malavoy, founder and CEO of Trace One. “With Mark’s expertise in market strategies that help manufacturers and retailers improve collaboration and profitability, as well as his work with retail and consumer packaged goods companies that focus on enabling supply chain collaboration, he’ll be an asset to our sales initiatives.”
Trace One continues to reach into the North American private-label PLM market, and Martini’s hire is its latest move to further establish its presence in this market. Trace One works with more than 20,000 manufacturers worldwide and 37 global retailers, including leading U.S. brands such as Walgreens and Safeway, to facilitate cloud-based PLM collaboration, resulting in the efficient delivery of quality and safe private-label products.
