Logistics Industry Thriving According to BlueGrace

BlueGrace Logistics' expansion through franchise and acquisitions continues to be major growth vehicle in 2014

Riverview, Fla.Feb. 4, 2014—The logistics industry continues to flourish each year, with 70 percent of the industry showing positive sales growth for 2013. A fast-growing logistics services firms, BlueGrace Logistics, closed out 2013 on an all-time high. To support the company's growth rate, the firm will begin enhancing its presence in the Chicago area. The BlueGrace Talent Acquisition Blitz (TAB) will take place in Chicago, February 24 and 25, in an effort to scout new recruits. BlueGrace president and CEO, Bobby Harris, is expected to be in attendance.

For the first time ever, BlueGrace Logistics ranked on Entrepreneur magazine's Franchise 500 list as one of America's top franchise companies in 2014. The logistics firm increased its footprint in 2013 with 62 percent growth in that channel. Another 40 new franchises are slated to open this year. Revenue is up approximately 20 percent over 2012.

As part of its 2014 growth strategy, BlueGrace is launching a new franchise website to act as a resource center for prospective and established franchise owners. The new site will create a streamlined awarding process for new franchisees with all of the necessary tools and information located in one spot. Included in the site will also be an interactive corporate brand manual for franchisees with new resourceful media published monthly.

"The goal of our interactive multi-media franchise site is to give prospective owners all the information they need to begin the process of being awarded a BlueGrace franchise," Harris said. "We have been continually improving our franchise business model, and innovating new technologies and resources to benefit franchisees. The implementation of our new site will create simple and efficient guidelines."

Continuing its expansion in 2014, BlueGrace Logistics has franchise opportunities available in most states, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

The company indicated the following target markets primed for franchise growth: Los Angeles and San Francisco, Calif.; Denver, Colo.; Atlanta, Ga.; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Kansas City and St. Louis, Mo.; Charlotte, N.C.; Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio; Oklahoma City, Okla.; Memphis, Tenn.; San Antonio, Texas; and Salt Lake City, Utah.
