Flash Global Logistics Expands Service in APAC Region

Company opens Singapore global command center

Mountain Lakes, N.J.May 23, 2013—To support its increasing customer base in the Asia Pacific region (APAC), Flash Global Logistics opened its Singapore global command center. The new APAC command center will handle customer order fulfillment including order entry; network control; and trade compliance functions for customer orders shipped from Asia Pacific forward-stocking locations (FSL).

“This exciting addition to our existing global command center solidifies Flash's commitment to support the aggressive growth in the region of our customers,” said Sam Mikles, Chief Operating Officer, Flash Global Logistics.

This new operation compliments the other global command centers strategically located in Japan, The Netherlands, Brazil and the USA. This opening completes Flash’s global command center strategy of servicing its customers in their region and time zone, while offering local knowledge of the geography and the region specific challenges. In addition to English, the Flash APAC command center supports regional languages including Mandarin (Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew and Hainanese dialects), Malay and Tagalog.
