Damco Appoints Helmut Kaspers

Kaspers to lead 3PL’s West Europe region as chief commercial officer

Copenhagen, Denmark—April 19, 2013—Third party logistics (3PL) provider Damco appointed Helmut Kaspers as Chief Commercial Officer for its West Europe region.

“Helmut Kaspers comes with an outstanding track record of delivering extraordinary growth and there is no doubt he will be a valuable member of the West Europe leadership team, as well as a very welcome addition to the global Damco community,” said Flemming Frost, Chief Executive Officer, Damco, West Europe.

In addition to his new role as Damco West Europe CCO, Kaspers will continue to act as non-executive director of the board of TAL International (USA), a container leasing company, a role he commenced in 2012.

Formerly, he held positions with Logwin; Birkart Globistics Group; Kuehne & Nagel; Schenker; and Dachser.
