Berlin, Germany—Oct. 18, 2012—4flow, which provides consulting, software and services for logistics and supply chain management, appointed Martin Benning as Manager, 4flow Management GmbH, in charge of developing new transportation management business across Europe for the 4PL arm of 4flow.
For nearly 20 years, Benning contributed to the growth of logistics service provider Duvenbeck, of which the last 10 of those years he served as the company’s general manager. He oversaw the expansion and development of several offices in Europe, including locations in Poland and the Czech Republic.
“With his know-how, Martin Benning will make a vital contribution to the growth of 4flow management,” said Kai Althoff, Chief Operating Officer, 4flow.
The business model of 4flow management includes optimizing and operating supply networks for its customers as a neutral 4PL
“I am looking forward to making key contributions to the 4PL business at 4flow and to being a member of the 4flow team,” said Benning. He will carry out his responsibilities from 4flow’s Berlin headquarters.
