Saddle Creek Manages Fulfillment Services for ipsy

Online beauty retailer uses logistics company to address ecommerce needs

Lakeland, Fla.Oct. 4, 2012—Saddle Creek Logistics Services now manages fulfillment services for only beauty site ipsy (formerly known as myglam), based in San Mateo, Calif.

In July, Saddle Creek began fulfilling orders for ipsy’s subscription program which involves monthly continuity shipments of health-and-beauty sample products to subscribers. The 3PL assembles curated bags containing product samples (for example, of lipsticks, nail polish an eyeliner) and provides packaging services such as rainbow-pack assembly and labeling from its facility in Charlotte, N.C.
