Fleet Support Group Rebrands as ARI Fleet UK

Mt. Laurel, N.J.—Oct. 1, 2012—Britain’s independent fleet management company Fleet Support Group (FSG) changed its name to ARI Fleet UK.

The name change, effective immediately, comes almost 10 months after ARI (of the Holman Automotive Group) acquired Chippenham-based FSG. In the months since the acquisition, developments enabled ARI Fleet UK’s client base to benefit from ARI’s established record of investment in IT solutions to further improve vehicle, driver and journey management.

“It remains business as usual, although existing and new customers operating cars, vans and trucks will benefit from an even more in-depth range of fleet management services,” said Geoffrey Bray, Founder of FSG and Chairman of ARI Fleet UK. “FSG has prided itself over 25 years on delivering financial savings to its customers and that will continue with ARI Fleet UK. The game-changing technology that ARI is bringing to its UK customers will deliver significant benefits in driver, vehicle and journey management, resulting in major savings in terms of total cost of ownership.”

Additionally, Mark Bryan, a 20-year fleet industry veteran, was appointed as Managing Director.

“While it is the end of one era, today marks the start of a new one with the official launch of the ARI name in the UK,” said Bryan. “ARI’s family culture means that the company has a very similar ethos and approach to FSG, which ensures continuity. However, technology is a major differentiator for ARI, and the company’s significant financial resources present a considerable opportunity for our customers and prospects in the UK to embrace a raft of new solutions to aid operating cost reduction.”

With the company name change, ARI Fleet UK makes its fleet management solutions available to UK clients and potential prospects to further expand its service capability and geographic reach, according to Chris Conroy, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, ARI Canada and Managing Director of Global Operations for ARI.
