Menlo helps nutritional products company implement online shopping model

Shanghai, China—March 19, 2012Menlo Worldwide Logistics China, (of Con-way Inc.) now handles the North China distribution and warehouse management for Beijing-based BabyCare Inc., a direct selling company that develops, manufactures and sells infant nutritional products. In addition to warehousing and distribution in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu, Menlo will establish a direct sales network with the implementation of online shopping for BabyCare.

“BabyCare needed an experienced third-party logistics provider in China with expertise and a network in direct sales,” said Thomas Pan, Managing Director, Menlo North Asia. “By developing an online shopping model supported by our best-in-class logistics services, we are able to achieve their goals of trimming costs, enhancing operational efficiency and improving turnaround time.”
