Englewood, Colo.—Feb. 28, 2012—Tikkurila, a European provider of decorative paints, selected the Product Stewardship Solution from IHS, a global information and analytics provider, to support its compliance program for Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management and distribution.

Headquartered in Finland, Tikkurila selected IHS because its blend of enterprise software, managed regulatory content and expert services will support Tikkurila’s global growth initiatives. In addition, it will meet its compliance reporting requirements, including Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) and its Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) protocol for substances and mixtures.
