Dallas—Feb. 21, 2012—Transplace, a third-party logistics provider of transportation management services, is now being used by Orion Engineered Carbons to handle all domestic transportation management activities. The carbon black manufacturer leveraged Transplace’s logistics services and technology to achieve transportation savings, enhance service levels and improve visibility of its North American operations.

Transplace will procure and manage the chemical manufacturer’s truckload contracts with the carrier community as well as manage the freight audit and payment process.
