Integration of TeamWorks, ARIS expected to elevate standard for business process excellence

Miami — February 13, 2006 — Business process solutions provider IDS Scheer and Lombardi Software, a business process management (BPM) software firm, today announced a partnership to promote an integrated technology offering of Lombardi TeamWorks and IDS Scheer ARIS Platform.

The companies said the integrated offering combines the ARIS enterprise management methodology for strategy, design, implementation and controlling of business processes with TeamWorks' business process management platform.

The new solution will offer a full BPM lifecycle solution, from design to completion and continuous improvement. It will also enable customers to monitor processes in real-time and export results back into the model for maximum process measuring and optimization.

Prior to announcing a formal partnership, Lombardi and IDS Scheer worked together to help enterprises, including a leading global investment management firm, optimize their business processes. The companies have also co-developed solutions for several joint clients and engineered the technical integration necessary for both products to work together. The integration can now be used by both existing and new customers.

"The combined might of TeamWorks and ARIS creates new levels of business process excellence for large organizations worldwide," said Rod Favaron, president and CEO of Lombardi Software. "Business process management is the change catalyst for building a tangible competitive advantage that global enterprises have been seeking to make their business ideas a reality."
