Boston — February 14, 2006 — Inventory optimization specialist ToolsGroup is touting its 2005 results, highlighting increased sales in the North American market that generated 100 percent sales revenue growth last year.

During the year, the company moved into a new U.S. headquarters office in Kendall Square, in Cambridge, Mass., to accommodate its growing team. The company's expanding North American business more than doubled total company revenue. As a result, ToolsGroup secured the top global market share position in advanced inventory optimization, according to an ARC Group market survey.

"ToolsGroup is the largest supplier of advanced inventory optimization solutions globally," reported Steve Banker, service director for Supply Chain Management at ARC Advisory Group. "They are strong in the consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, and retail verticals and have an extremely loyal customer base that includes 140 implementations at 90-plus customers."

ToolsGroup said it added more than 20 new customers in 2005, including construction and agricultural equipment leader CNH, GE Plastics, Tyco Healthcare, European snack and chip manufacturer San Carlo, and Cadbury Schweppes, one of the world's largest beverage and confectionery companies.

"This was a breakthrough year for ToolsGroup and our customers," said Joseph Shamir, CEO of ToolsGroup. "Our company increased stake in North America and expanded into new territories and vertical markets. Building on this success, we will continue to reinforce our position as the leader in inventory optimization software and progressively build out our extended inventory network solution all the way to the consumer shelf."

Other notable achievements for 2005 included completed SAP certification for ToolsGroup's DPM 5.1.0 product, earning the "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" designation. The company also was recognized with several industry awards including the Supply & Demand Chain Executive Top 100 and Food Logistics Top 100 Technology Solution Providers.
