High-tech company taps Supply Chain Consultants software to gain demand driven ATP capability and greater supply chain visibility

Wilmington, DE — July 12, 2006 — Technology company ANADIGICS has inked a deal with Supply Chain Consultants to use SCC's Zemeter Sales & Operations Planning software solution to gain a demand-driven available to promise capability and greater visibility into the company's supply chain.

Headquartered in Warren, N.J., ANADIGICS is a supplier of radio frequency integrated circuits (RFIC) for growing broadband and wireless communications markets. The company's RF products enable a wide spectrum of wireless and broadband applications, including mobile handsets, WLAN devices and cable set-top boxes.

The ANADIGICS implementation of Zemeter Sales & Operations Planner will make it possible to select and synthesize information from multiple sources and analyze and report demand with greater accuracy, according to the solution provider.

SCC said that Zemeter S&OP provides product functionality that includes demand planning, inventory planning, finite scheduling, production optimization, margin optimization and business intelligence. The ANADIGICS deployment will use all these Zemeter software components.

"We selected Zemeter S&OP because we required an easy-to-use, robust planning solution that would help us meet an ever increasing demand for our products," said Gerry Groundwater, vice president and chief information officer at ANADIGICS. "In addition, Zemeter helps our sales force and operations with improved available to promise (ATP) capability, which is clearly very important in meeting customer needs."

"A high growth company like ANADIGICS is a perfect application for the advanced features and functionality of Zemeter S&OP," said Harpal Singh, CEO of Supply Chain Consultants.

The Zemeter software suite uses a Microsoft environment, and SCC said that the solution can increase supply chain visibility that helps manufacturers gain control of the supply chain and create a strategic business advantage.
