Project InVision aims to provide transparency and create value from compliance efforts with on-demand audit and compliance software

Novato, CA — July 19, 2006 — Project InVision International, a provider of business performance improvement solutions, has released a new suite intended to help organizations to meet the complex challenges of regulatory compliance presented by Sarbanes-Oxley, USA Patriot Act, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), internal audits and other requirements of the law.

Project InVision said that its Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) suite provides visibility across an enterprise to monitor risk, unify compliance efforts and increase corporate accountability.

"More than a decade of process management experience as well as extensive audit methodology and risk assessment automation experience with 'Big Four' accounting firms enabled Project InVision to develop the next generation audit and compliance capabilities available in Project InVision GRC," the software company said in announcing the solution.

Vertical and Horizontal Visibility

"Governance, risk and compliance processes affect nearly every business unit in an enterprise today, from finance and legal to human resources and information technology," said Michael Deutch, marketing vice president at the solution provider. "Project InVision GRC breaks down the silos, providing the vertical and horizontal visibility required to create value from compliance efforts, decreasing operational costs, managing risk and increasing overall performance and efficiency."

"Adaptability and scalability are among the most important features of Project InVision GRC," said Colleen O'Rourke, senior product manager with Project InVision. "Process maturity varies greatly among organizations implementing GRC disciplines. The adaptability of Project InVision allows an organization to activate features as their GRC processes evolve and capture more benefits from their process improvements."

Project InVision GRC is available on an on-demand, or software-as-a-service, model. Companies can implement the hosted solution immediately without absorbing the additional costs associated with buying, building and maintaining software and hardware while enjoying the same level of customization, security and integration as a traditional installed solution, according to Project InVision.
