Business process and IT firm strengthens global delivery of enterprise application services by partnering with consulting provider

Boston — August 1, 2006 — Keane Inc., a business process and information technology (IT) services firm, today announced that it has enhanced its enterprise application offerings by forging an alliance with Intelligroup, a provider of consulting, business process optimization and outsourcing services.

Keane said it is strengthening its enterprise application services (EAS) to help clients gain maximum value from their enterprise application investments. Industry analyst firm Gartner forecasts 15.9 percent growth of this market between 2005 and 2008, with the market reaching $36.3 billion in 2008. Keane's alliance with Intelligroup will broaden Keane's services portfolio with expanded capabilities for enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), supply chain management (SCM), business intelligence, financials and human resource management (HRM) implementations and support.

Keane said that with the alliance, clients will have access to its expertise in business process and application outsourcing, project management and legacy platform integration combined with Intelligroup's EAS experience and industry domain knowledge. Additionally, clients will have access to a global pool of talent, which can be leveraged both onshore and offshore.

"This alliance enables us to deliver unique value to our clients," said KD Singh, vice president of Keane's West region and EAS business line. "We have integrated our processes and methodologies with those of Intelligroup to provide customized service and seamless delivery. Together, we have a more formidable global delivery organization that includes five SEI CMM Level5 certified Advanced Development Centers (ADCs) in India."

Keane and Intelligroup will deliver EAS for SAP and Oracle, including PeopleSoft and Siebel product areas. Services extend across the entire enterprise application lifecycle — from package evaluation and implementation, to upgrades and migration, through support and maintenance, integration, and enhancements. To ensure optimal results, all services leverage Intelligroup's suite of proprietary ERP lifecycle accelerators.

Vikram Gulati, CEO of Intelligroup, commented, "The combined strengths of our firms enable us to compete for large-scale enterprise application implementation, development and integration engagements, and allow us to meet the needs of our customers from process to applications across legacy, packages and e-business."
