Stockholm, Sweden — July 13, 2005 — Intentia International AB, a global enterprise solutions provider for the mid-market, announced the release of Intentia Application Suite 5.1, a full integration of Intentia's entire application portfolio that delivers support for service-oriented architecture (SOA) to create business process and application development flexibility.

Intentia Application Suite (IAS) is a solution aimed specifically at companies in the manufacturing, distribution and maintenance industries. Particular focus is placed on those companies in food and beverage, fashion, wholesale distribution, and asset and maintenance-intensive industries that include enterprise asset management (EAM) and product service management (PSM).

IAS consists of eight Intentia application areas, including customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise management (ENM), supplier relationship management (SRM), supply chain management (SCM), enterprise performance management (EPM), workplace management (WPM), value chain collaboration (VCC) and foundation and tools (FTO).

Martin Hill, the vice president of Intentia's Product Marketing group, said the company continues to invest heavily in its open philosophy. "Intentia continues to strengthen its commitment to industry standards, such as those developed by the Java community with the participation of IBM, Microsoft and the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)."

Hill added that Intentia's commitment to standards enables it to provide an advanced platform for composite application development and a foundation for service-oriented architecture.
