LeftBrain teams with LogisticsFinance on solution to let supply chain partners administer, track transactions in real-time

Newport Beach, CA — September 19, 2005 — LogisticsFinance Inc. and LeftBrain Inc. have agreed to a strategic partnership whereby LeftBrain's SourceCentre will provide a transaction monitoring and execution platform for select LogisticsFinance sponsored contracts.

LogisticsFinance provides programs that bridge financial gaps between trading partners. The provider facilitates the purchase and sale of goods on behalf of buyers, suppliers or trade intermediaries by extending the payment cycle for buyers and shortening the payment cycle for suppliers.

In addition, the provider said its Financial Liquidity Solutions allow buyers and suppliers to reduce capital locked up in goods during transit phases that add no economic value, such as warehousing and shipping. The buyer-supplier commercial relationship remains unchanged, and LogisticsFinance works with logistics providers appointed by either party.

Using SourceCentre, LogisticsFinance is augmenting its service offering by providing clients and trading partners the ability to administer and track transactions in real-time from anywhere across the globe and the opportunity to benefit from processes right across the procure-to-pay cycle.

LeftBrain said that its SourceCentre solution's credentials as a sourcing and procurement platform have been proven over the last four years through processing tens of millions of international transactions, worth tens of billions of dollars, in highly demanding environments.

"I am confident that SourceCentre will provide yet another draw-card to LogisticsFinance's already inventive and attractive offering, and add to their clients' satisfaction and loyalty. In addition, a broad range of trading partners will be exposed to our solution, which makes this partnership truly symbiotic." said Paul van Essche, managing director of LeftBrain Solutions S.A.

Kevin Lynch, CEO of LogisticsFinance said: "We have done extensive research in the marketplace and are very happy that we have found SourceCentre from LeftBrain. We are attracted by the width of the services and the connectivity capabilities of SourceCentre — in our business we need to adapt to many different processes and interconnect with various IT systems of our customers. Moreover, the processing power is amazing and will allow us to grow without IT scalability problems."
