Manufacturers and distributors to implement software suite from Adonix to support specialized needs

Pittsburgh, PA — December 9, 2005 — Adonix, a provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and supply chain execution solutions for mid-sized companies, announced that three mid-sized manufacturers and distributors have selected its Adonix X3 software suite.

Adonix X3, an integrated, enterprise-wide set of business functions with an underlying technical platform, has been configured in three distinct offerings to support the specialized needs of discrete and process manufacturers and distributors.

The latest customers include companies in a variety of industry segments that coincide with Adonix X3's targeted offerings: Butterfield Foods of Noblesville, Ind., a producer of flavorful fresh and frozen foods, including deli salads, spreads and home meal solutions; HOYA Vision Care North America based in Lewisville, Texas, distributes eye-care products and services; and Sligh Furniture based in Holland, Mich., supplies high-end home office and home entertainment furniture.

Adonix said its configured X3 offerings includes Adonix X3 Process for companies producing food and beverage items, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and other batch-produced products. Additionally, it includes Adonix X3 Discrete for manufacturers in make-to-order, configure-to-order, assemble-to-order, make-to-stock and mixed-mode environments. Finally, it includes Adonix X3 Distribution that integrates sales, purchasing, inventory, customer relationship management (CRM), warehouse management, pricing and accounting capabilities into a business application for wholesalers and the distribution arm of manufacturers.

With more than 1,200 customer implementations and over 30,000 users since its introduction in 2000, Adonix X3 has established a foothold as one of the fastest-growing enterprise systems used by mid-sized companies seeking to replace their legacy systems with a modern enterprise application designed to support their business growth and competitiveness. The Adonix X3 customer base is a highly unique group of businesses that manufacture or distribute everything from artists' paints to binder tabs, router bits and ostrich-feather dusters.

Alex Attal, Adonix North American CEO, said, "We are excited to be experiencing such a broad-based acceptance of our solutions, especially across a variety of process, discrete and distribution industries. While they are mid-sized companies, these organizations are leaders in their particular industry sector."
