Paso Robles, CA — February 13, 2004 — Auto industry supplier Miniature Precision Components (MPC) is set to deploy an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system from IQMS in a bid to improve manufacturing operations at its five production facilities in Wisconsin and Mexico.

Walworth, Wis.-based MPC is an original equipment manufacturer of molded and extruded thermoplastic automotive components and assemblies for the world's major automotive manufacturers. The company employs 1,500 people at five locations in three countries.

MPC will implement IQMS's ERP II software solution, EnterpriseIQ, at all its facilities and will have more than 600 employees using the system in an effort to better capture data, track operations and improve operating efficiencies.

"We selected IQMS for their system's ability to help us streamline data and apply best practices across our organization," said David Stout, international controller at MPC.

IQMS, in business since 1989, offers enterprise software for repetitive and discrete manufacturing industries.
