Set to deliver integrated supply chain solutions to the Korean market
Conshohocken, PA, and Seoul, South Korea February 19, 2004 Boomi Inc., a business integration software provider, and HEC Co. Ltd., a provider of supply chain management consulting and implementation services, announced a strategic alliance for HEC to represent Boomi's integration software in the Korean market, and for HEC to represent Boomi in business development activities with Korean companies.
The companies worked together to develop Boomi interfaces for the supply chain management systems that HEC represents in Korea. Joint customers will now be able to use the supply chain management functionality and consulting offered by HEC and integration implementation infrastructure offered by the Boomi Integration Platform.
Through the partnership, HEC and Boomi said they would open up a business development channel for the Boomi Integration Platform in the Korean market, in addition to Boomi enabling a channel for HEC to offer its supply chain management solutions and consulting services to the United States' market.
"Boomi's momentum in the third-party logistics space, strong [enterprise application integration (EAI)] solution set and adaptability make it an ideal complement for HEC and the supply chain management solutions we offer," said HT Kim, president and CEO of HEC. "The combination of these solutions will strengthen our ability to present a more comprehensive supply chain management solution to existing customers and prospects."
