Agilent Technologies Deploys Incentive Management

Solution part of human capital management suite from PeopleSoft

Pleasanton, CA — May 6, 2004 — PeopleSoft Inc. today announced that Agilent Technologies has deployed PeopleSoft Enterprise Sales Incentive Management (SIM) to its global salesforce of more than 2,000 employees. SIM, which is part of PeopleSoft's Human Capital Management (HCM) suite, provides organizations with real-time access to sales management and compensation information, according to the provider.

Agilent said SIM will enable the company to lower administration costs, eliminate redundant data entry, more effectively measure the results of incentive programs, and see that accurate commissions are paid by integrating with HCM products such as Payroll and ePerformance. The result, Agilent said, will be an enterprise-wide view of the sales management and compensation process, allowing the company to better align its global salesforce with company goals.

"During our competitive evaluation, PeopleSoft's SIM proved to have the flexibility and functionality we required. It has streamlined our sales management process and reduced the time to review and edit transactions."
