Tampa, FL — May 11, 2004 — Skyway Software, a provider of a software development solutions, is offering a free, fully functional download of its Skyway Builder Personal Edition, an application providing a "codeless" development environment for Java apps.

Skyway offers what it calls an integrated services management (ISM) solution that allows companies to create business services and manage them across enterprise boundaries. Skyway Builder offers a way to create J2EE Web applications and Web services.

The provider asserted that people using Skyway Builder for the first time can be up and building Web services and designing composite Web applications in minutes. Builder is intended to provide a simplified and intuitive interface in order to remove the complexity of programming J2EE so that users do not need to know Java.

"Skyway Builder improves development processes by removing the question of .NET or J2EE," said Troy Haaland, founder and chief architect for Skyway customer eSigma. "The ability to build reusable business processes in a fraction of the time that it used to take has proven invaluable to our customers. The time saved by using Skyway Builder has not only freed our engineers to focus on real business problems, but has also provided the opportunity to pass the resulted savings on to our business partners and customers."

Jared Rodriguez, chief technology officer of Skyway, said that by offering a free personal edition of the software, the provider is aiming to overcome skepticism about its solution. "We decided to make a free personal edition because we kept hearing people say Skyway Builder sounded too good to be true," he said.

Skyway said that Builder, consisting of the Skyway Builder Server & Skyway Builder Client, introduces innovations in four major phases of development, including integration, by offering automatic discovery and integration of existing infrastructure; creation, by allowing companies to design new business services with an intuitive graphical interface; orchestration, by combining existing business services with entirely new ones to create new services, processes and applications; and construction, by generating business solutions by automatically generating Java code that can be immediately deployed and available for use.

The solution is available for download from the provider's Web site at www.skywaybuilder.com.
