Enhance global trade initiatives with logistics, supply chain solutions

Chicago — May 20, 2004 — Precision Software, a provider of logistics software for companies involved in international trade and domestic parcel shipping, announced this week that it has executed a strategic partnership with RedPrairie Corp., of Waukesha, Wisc., a provider of global supply chain technology solutions.

Greg Lloyd, CEO of Precision USA, commented that Precision feels the timing of the relationship is very important for both companies' mutual customer base.

"Companies are continually looking to gain efficiencies in internal and external processes surrounding their global trade initiatives. Precision has collaborated with our customers to help them align their business requirements with compliance controls and government regulations, which effect domestic and international trade today," he said. "By doing this, Precision has brought together best practices in one proven application that will help RedPrairie customers in North America save costs and further improve efficiencies. In addition, the same single application can be implemented and used by those companies who also may be involved in shipping from/to Europe, Africa and the Far East."

Jerry Rau, vice president of Red Prairie, said, "As a leader in global supply chain technology solutions, RedPrairie enables customers to optimize supply chain performance across their global networks. This requires interconnectivity across borders, which involves compliance with numerous trade regulations. Our partnership with Precision enhances that cross-border interconnectivity for our customers, ensuring trade compliance while increasing supply chain velocity and customer service."
