Canadian telecoms retailer re-ups with Unigistix until 2009

Brampton, Ontario — June 15, 2004 — Telecommunications company Bell World has renewed its contract with supply chain and logistics services provider Unigistix to handle logistics for all of the company's retail products.

Bell World is the retail arm of Canadian telecoms firm Bell Canada. Unigistix has been Bell's logistics service provider since 1995, and the new contract extends the relationship until January 2009.

Unigistix provides logistics services for all of Bell World's retail products, including mobile and wireline phones, accessories, satellite dishes and phone cards. The service provider also delivers in-store marketing collateral and selling tools and distributes all products to various channels, which include more than 300 retail locations ranging from corporate stores, dealers, franchises and big-box retailers. Unigistix delivers mobile phones and Bell ExpressVu satellite systems directly to consumers.

In addition to traditional logistics services such as order management, product receiving and transportation management, Unigistix provides such services to Bell World as custom retail packaging, collateral kitting, flashing and refurbishment of mobile phones, activation of wireless devices, refurbishment of ExpressVu products, reverse logistics management for stores and direct to consumers, information management and customer service management.

"We take a consultative approach when we work with our clients," said Michael Dunlop, president and CEO of Unigistix. "With Bell World, we have helped them to execute new product and marketing launches, as well as developing new processes to create a better end-customer experience. As a result, our customers reduce their operating costs and, most importantly, improve their customers' experiences."

Dunlop noted that Unigistix's technology interfaces with Bell's IT systems, including SAP and billing systems.
