Designed for manufacturers, features more key performance indicators
Atlanta — July 2, 2004 — MAPICS Inc., a global provider of enterprise solutions for manufacturers, announced the availability this month of MAPICS Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) for iSeries.
The newest release of MAPICS EBI for iSeries fully integrates with Cognos Performance Applications, a business intelligence solution.

MAPICS said EBI for iSeries extends the value of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and other operational systems because it turns data into information that is optimized for reporting and analysis. It also provides enterprise-wide corporate performance management founded on a 360-degree view of business, which MAPICS said enables business leaders to achieve bottom-line impact.
MAPICS EBI for iSeries has over 400 established KPIs, which manufacturers can use to improve their operations and accelerate progress. Functioning in seven languages, this latest release features 195 additional business measurements, nearly double the prior release.
