OrderMotion, TrueShip integrate order management, fulfillment functionality
Scottsdale, AZ — July 15, 2004 — Software providers OrderMotion and TrueShip have partnered to offer an integrated solution for order management and fulfillment targeted at UPS customers.
OrderMotion's Web-based order capture and management system now has integrated order exporting designed specifically for TrueShip. The two partners say that the technology alliance will streamline shipping operations by connecting the OrderMotion front-end platform with a back-end shipping solution designed to automate forms processing, expedite fulfillment and prevent errors.
This solution is available today, and the two software companies say that the joint offering provides key benefits to UPS customers. Users of UPS WorldShip that previously have been subject to double entry, manual processes or collating multiple shipping documents during fulfillment now will see new efficiencies, according to OrderMotion and TrueShip.
For example, aggregated orders, whether received by mail, phone, fax or the Internet, now can be imported in batch and automatically processed into an all-in-one packing list/invoice and UPS label.
The joint solution is built on Shipping Manager, by TrueShip, a fulfillment efficiency application created for UPS customers. TrueShip said that Shipping Manager automates forms processing by creating an all-in-one shipping document from any version of UPS OnLine WorldShip. This document combines a packing list with a UPS-compliant shipping label into one single form.
