Solution to streamline processes for full-package operations

Miami — September 3, 2004 — Roka Apparel said this week it has selected New Generation Computing Inc.'s (NGC) RedHorse Enterprise enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and The Production Manager (TPM) to manage the company's full-package operations in its cutting-and-sewing facilities in Honduras and offices in Jacksonville, Fla.

Established in 2003, Roka Apparel is the largest private-label intimate apparel producer in the western hemisphere. Roka's manufacturing facilities are located in the Villanueva Free Zone Park near San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and the Government Park in Puerto Cortez. The company employs more than 2,000 people in Honduras and has produced more than 10 million garments to date.

The software, which Roka Apparel will install in August, will help stream multiple processes, including customer order processing, financial accounting, cut order management, fabric and trim inventory control, as well as shop floor control, incentive payroll, operator performance analysis and factory cost analysis.

"Our management's prior success with NGC software implementations at other companies was a key factor in our selection of RedHorse and TPM," said Larry Stone, CEO of Roka Apparel. "We are confident in NGC's software products, management and implementation service. Information technology is an important component of our company infrastructure, and we need to work with a company that has a strong track record."

Alan Brooks, NGC's president and CEO, added: "We're excited about working with Roka Apparel and look forward to a successful implementation at the region's newest intimate apparel company."

NGC is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Software Inc.
