Says new moniker reflects global presence, no change in vertical markets focus

Atlanta — September 7, 2004 — Enterprise solution provider Agilisys has changed its name to Infor Global Solutions in a move aimed at supporting the company's global ambitions following a two-year run of growth in its select markets.

The former Agilisys is a provider of enterprise software solutions to select manufacturing and distribution industries. The company focuses on the automotive, specialty chemical/pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods, discrete manufacturing, food and beverage, and distribution industries.

"The goal of this name change is to provide us with a strong global brand to support continued international growth," said Jim Schaper, chairman and CEO of Infor Global Solutions. "In the past 24 months, we have grown our revenue and successfully completed numerous acquisitions that we believe have strengthened our position in the markets we serve. Our new name represents the company's ongoing mission of solving the essential issues of select vertical markets."

Infor said it has 27 locations, more than 1600 employees and customers in 31 countries. Infor's customers include such companies as TRW, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Pez International, Heineken, Godiva, GlaxoSmithKline and Bristol Myers Squibb.

The provider's solutions address such areas as supply chain planning, relationship management, demand management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), wholesale distribution and business intelligence.

"We will continue to focus on providing solutions that address the unique needs of selected vertical markets, and our customers can expect the same levels of service and support that they have always received," said Ken Walters, president and COO of the newly dubbed Infor. "Our strategy calls for continued growth globally. Our new name is intended to support that growth but does not indicate a change in our company's direction."

To support the company's re-branding effort, Infor said it had launched a new Website and developed a new corporate identity that has been implemented worldwide.
