Credit Libanais bank implements software to align employees' performance to the overall strategy of the bank

London — September 8, 2004 — Panorama Business Views announced today that Credit Libanais has become the first company in Lebanon to implement pbviews, the world's leading Performance Management software.

With more than 100 staff trained to use the software at the bank's many retail branches, pbviews enables employees to align their performance to the overall strategy of the bank. Additionally, the software is designed to enhance the performance culture of the organization with improved communication and accountability around performance.

Branch teams from Credit Libanais will use pbviews to monitor performance on a monthly basis in order to achieve performance targets and qualify for quarterly performance rewards.

"Credit Libanais is dedicated to performance improvement, and in order to achieve the best possible results we needed to arm our employees with the information they required to manage their performance locally in support of the corporate strategy," said Elie Abimrad, Financial Controller, Credit Libanais. "Using pbviews as a strategic tool to facilitate communication, transparency and accountability, we are now better supporting our employees in their efforts to deliver improved performance results and meet their ambitious targets."

Michael Tipping, president and CEO, Panorama Business Views, said, "With their performance culture and focus on customers, Credit Libanais are well-positioned to leverage pbviews' support for strategic alignment and communication."
