Philadelphia and Shelton, CN August 27, 2003 G-Log announced today that Rohm and Haas Co., a Philadelphia-based $5.7 billion specialty materials company, has selected G-Log's Global Command and Control Center (GC3) software to support its initiatives to enhance efficiencies in its global logistics and transportation systems and to improve service to its customers.

"Rohm and Haas Co.'s goal to maximize logistics efficiencies is well suited to the single logistics platform offered by G-Log," said Tom Archibald, vice president, manufacturing, Rohm and Haas Co. "The system offers more customized, real-time optimization for freight movement to our global customer base, as well as the opportunity to work more closely and effectively with core carriers."

Rohm and Haas said it expects the software to deliver a return on investment (ROI) and achieve cost savings through load consolidation, operational efficiencies and replacement of legacy systems as the software is implemented.
