Taps Frictionless for enterprise sourcing platform
Cambridge, MA September 23, 2003 Enterprise software company Frictionless Commerce this week announced that KPMG LLP UK has selected Frictionless Sourcing software to manage a specific expenditure portfolio.
KPMG provides corporations with financial advisory, assurance, tax and legal services. Frictionless said the firm is undergoing a procurement transformation in order to realize process efficiencies and cost savings in specific areas.
KPMG's sourcing group selected to first implement an enterprise sourcing platform that would then enable the new processes to be applied across the organization.
"We evaluated the most effective methods to implement systemic sourcing process delivery across some large areas of spend. As a result, we have embedded our best practices into Frictionless Sourcing to drive this effort," said Eulalia Crease-Huggett, head of procurement, UK at KPMG.
Frictionless Sourcing's ability to address complex services sourcing and ease-of-use were key to its selection, Crease-Huggett said.
