Announces version 2.0 of shipping fulfillment tool integrated with UPS Online Tools
Scottsdale, AZ September 26, 2003 Shipping solution provider TrueShip this week announced improved customer service functionality with the integration of UPS Online tools.
The provider said that shipment data and the tools to track and project the time in transit for any shipment are now integrated into the same interface. This combination, TrueShip predicts, will reduce customer call times and save money.
TrueShip's Shipping Manager is a fulfillment efficiency tool created specifically for UPS customers. It automates forms processing with an all-in-one shipping document from any version of UPS OnLine WorldShip. The document combines a packing list with a UPS compliant shipping label into a single form.
With the addition of UPS OnLine Tools, TrueShip said Shipping Manager would have a new level of customer service and functionality. The tool now offers UPS Tracking, which provides shipping status reports to online customers. Customers can determine status of their shipments, including the time and location of each scan as the package moves toward its final destination.
It will also feature UPS Time in Transit, which displays all available UPS shipping services within the United States, with their associated scheduled delivery time, date and days in transit. This tool also provides the city and state names associated with the origin or destination postal codes.
