IQMS touts 20 percent growth in 2004, says 25 percent of new customers outside U.S. market
Paso Robles, CA — January 21, 2005 — Enterprise software vendor IQMS this week touted its 2004 growth, saying that the increased globalization of manufacturing business is driving growth opportunities for the Paso Robles, Calif.-based solution provider.
The developer of EnterpriseIQ, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for repetitive, process and discrete manufacturing environments, IQMS said it achieved a 20 percent revenue growth last year. The company attributes this to double-digit growth in new system sales and positive revenue opportunities for the company's new professional services group.
For IQMS, this growth follows a 12 percent increase in new system sales and 17 percent revenue growth the company experienced in 2003.
In 2004, one in four new IQMS customers was located outside the U.S. market, including Mexico, Canada, Ireland, Sweden and China. The provider said that these new customers highlight IQMS' ability to serve the multi-lingual, multi-currency and multi-plant ERP needs of global manufacturers.
"Manufacturing around the world is becoming increasingly more connected," said Randy Flamm, president and founder of IQMS. "For IQMS, growth is coming from existing customers who are leveraging the benefits of EnterpriseIQ as they expand into other countries, and new customers who are seeing the advantages of EnterpriseIQ."
The company offers its EnterpriseIQ system in multiple languages with multi-currency capabilities. EnterpriseIQ is available in German, Dutch, Swedish and Spanish, with Chinese coming soon.
"Providing support for multi-language companies is essential to serving global manufacturers, and IQMS' expanded language and multi-currency offerings help global customers operate and communicate most effectively for maximum profitability," Flamm said.

In June 2004 IQMS launched a new Professional Services Group to provide implementation services for new customers as well as application analysis, which maps ERP functionality to specific customer needs.
